The City of Arcadia, Wisconsin seeks a qualified applicant for the position of Full-Time Utility Billing Clerk/Deputy Treasurer. The candidate selected will perform all utility billing duties, and will work closely with the clerk-treasurer and electric, water and wastewater superintendents regarding utility billing issues, rates, and reports. This position will back up the City Treasurer in general ledger balancing. This position includes various customer service functions, including, but not limited to, answering the phone for city hall on a rotating basis, waiting on customers, and collecting payments. This position also includes uploading and maintaining on-line mapping in Beehive. Organization, accuracy, attention to detail, handling money and confidentiality are required. The successful candidate will have an associate’s degree in accounting or at least 3 years of experience. Knowledge of MS Office is required. Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment is a must. Candidates will be subject to background check and drug screen prior to job offer.
