WRWA Calendar Raffle

Rural Water Calendar Sales Partnership Program

Wisconsin Rural Water Association (WRWA) is asking for your assistance in helping us raise money for construction of our new hands-on Training Facility. This facility will enhance our efforts to provide quality training to operators, clerks and managers of water & wastewater utilities across our state for generations to come.

All it takes to help is agreeing to sell a few fundraising WRWA Raffle Calendars to your customers and staff. Everyone that purchases a $20 calendar has multiple chances at winning money every week day over the course of a year. $27,775 in cash prizes will be awarded from May 1, 2012, to April 30, 2013. The daily prize amounts range from $50 - $2500 and there's no limit on how many times anyone can win.

By agreeing to be one of our calendar sales partners, you'll not only help our training efforts, but you'll also receive recognition on our website and at all of our Rural Water events throughout the year.

How do you get the calendars to sell?

All you need to do is contact Janis at (715) 344-7778 or email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Let us know the number of calendars you'd be willing to try and sell and one of our circuit riders or trainers will stop by and drop them off as soon as possible. We'll even provide you with a small sign you can use to promote them in your office or shop.

After you've collected the money and ticket stubs from the calendars you've sold, give our office a call and a member of our staff will stop by and pick them up. It's that simple!

Thanks for Your Consideration!!

Calendar Rules:

1. Calendars cannot be taken out of state to be sold.

2. Calendars, ticket stubs or money cannot go through the mail.

3. All checks written to WRWA.

4. Be sure to print legibly and to include City, State and Zip on each ticket stub.

WRWA working to keep groundwater safe

On Monday February 2nd WRWA's Circuit Rider Jeff LaBelle and Source Water Specialist Andrew Aslesen had the opportunity to tell Rural Water's story to Brownfield, a nationwide news source for the agricultural community. LaBelle spoke about how we find leaks for systems and help them conserve water and save money. Aslesen spoke about how we work with communities to protect the groundwater that feeds their drinking water wells. Brownfield posted an overview and audio from the meeting on their website where people who may not know who Rural Water is can hear our story.
