Water & Sewer Maintenance Worker
The City of Pewaukee has an opening in the Water & Sewer Utility for a full-time Water & Sewer Maintenance Worker. The starting pay rate is $18.48 per hour with a generous benefits package.
Examples of the duties of this position include –
• Assists in the inspection, evaluation and maintenance of pump stations, pump houses and water pumping equipment
• Reads, tests, repairs and installs water meters
• Assists in water quality sampling and monitoring
• Maintains buildings and grounds
• Exercises water valves and maintains valve records
• Assists with seasonal hydrant flushing, maintenance and repair
• Assists in the preparation of sewer and water punch lists
• Assists in the field locating underground utilities, and in the operation and repair of all appurtenances of the municipal water and sewer system
Qualified applicants, 1) will reside within 30 minutes of City Hall, 2) will have a high school degree or GED and at least one year technical education in Environmental Health and/or Water Quality Technology, or at least one year of public/private experience relating to water and sewer utility operations, or related experience/education, and 3) will have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

Street/Water Utility Worker
• This is a temporary position which is open due to the incumbent being called up for active duty in the Military. This position will be eliminated upon return of the incumbent employee.
• The City of Weyauwega is seeking an individual with Wastewater and Water training/experience or willing to earn certification. Salary commensurate with training and experience, plus benefits. Must be able to work toward a Grade T (In-training) certificate. Must have a valid Wisconsin Driver's License.
• This position requires knowledge and performance of street and water department duties, as assigned. There are several functions a person in this position is responsible for that include performing manual tasks needed to maintain roads, drainage structures and street signage. Street/Water Utility workers must also assure that the roads and previously mentioned structures are maintained with a standard of safety that makes them safe for use by the general public.
• Successful applicant will be responsible for the wastewater laboratory testing, lab quality assurance, industrial monitoring and operation of plant during absence of head operator. With duties including maintenance of treatment plant and equipment, reading and recording meters, sampling and enforcing compliance with city utility ordinance and regulations. This position also requires knowledge and performance of various street department assignments and duties of water meter reading, well testing, hydrant flushing and other water department duties, as assigned.
• Road and bridge equipment such as utility trucks, dump trucks and boom trucks must be operated. Other machinery used in this position include power tools such as grinders, welders, torches, chainsaws and concrete saws.

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC II
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
The City of La Crosse, WI is currently seeking to fill full-time positions of MAINTENANCE MECHANIC II at the Waste Water Treatment Plant. This position provides utility mechanical maintenance and repair work. Selected candidate shall possess mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry skills. The position is responsible for maintaining scheduled and emergency maintenance and repair to a wide variety of equipment. Qualifications include High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum of two years of progressively responsible mechanical experience, preferably in a utility, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Valid motor vehicle operator's license required and ability to obtain and maintain a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Certifications in CPR, First Aid and confined space entry required.
Starting rate for this unionized position is $21.83 per hour (80 hours bi-weekly). Position Description: This position is responsible for the development, planning and marketing of new product and product enhancements for Magnum's Pumping line. This will involve managing all aspects of the product lifecycle, defining product vision, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements. Primary Responsibilities:
• Be the market expert in pumping with regard to opportunities, gaps and the competition.
