City of Chippewa Falls
The City of Chippewa Falls is accepting applications for the
position of Collection System/Wastewater Treatment Operator at its
Wastewater Treatment Facility. The City Department of Public
Utilities owns/operates a 5.6 MGD, Grade 4 activated sludge plant
with biological phosphorus removal and solids thickening and
dewatering, 72 miles of collection system piping and 13 lift
stations.
Eligible applicants should possess or be capable of obtaining a
Grade 1 Wisconsin DNR Wastewater Operator Certification with
subgrades ACEFI and a WI Commercial Drivers License. Wage range

WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT LABORER/OPERATOR
Consolidated Koshkonong Sanitary District
The Consolidated Koshkonong Sanitary District is accepting resumes
for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Laborer/Operator to work at the
Consolidated Koshkonong Sanitary District Wastewater Treatment
Plant and Collection System. Duties include assisting with all
facets of operation and maintenance of the plant, collection
system, and lift stations. Regular work hours are 7:30 A.M. - 4:00
P.M. Monday through Friday, as well as on-call rotation. Qualified
applicants must possess an introductory WDNR wastewater license in
laboratory, disinfection, aerated ponds and phosphorous or obtain
a general license within one year. A general knowledge of SCADA
and computers will be required. The candidate should also have a
background in electrical and motor controls.
Qualified applicants are required to live within 20 mile radius.
