City of Amery is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to serve as its next Wastewater Superintendent. This full-time position oversees the operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of the City’s wastewater treatment facility and municipal water system.

- $30.00 – $40.00 per hour DOQ

Qualifications
- Wisconsin DNR Wastewater Operator Certification required (or ability to obtain remaining subclasses within 6 months)
- Waterworks Operator Certification required or ability to obtain within 3 months
- Minimum three years of wastewater or related experience
- Technical training or education in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or related field preferred
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license required
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain wastewater and water systems
- Ensure compliance with all DNR and regulatory requirements
- Perform sampling, testing, reporting, and equipment maintenance
- Manage operational budgets, chemicals, and supplies
- Respond to emergencies and oversee on-call operations
