The Village of Black Earth (population: 1438) is currently accepting resumes for the position of Administrative Assistant/Utility Clerk. This will be a part time position that will assist the Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer and Utilities. Primary duties will be the principle customer contact for all telephone calls and walk-in inquiries and provide clerical support for general government departments including utilities. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in accounting or closely related field, and advanced skill level of Microsoft Office software plus excellent customer service skills. Must be able to plan, prioritize, take initiative and meet deadlines. Candidates will report directly to the Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer, have a professional attitude and appearance as well as possess a high degree of integrity.
