The Village of Little Chute has an opening for a full-time Department of Public Works/Park/Forestry Employee. This position will report directly to a working foreman. Position is paid hourly starting at $21.29. Candidate will perform a variety of semi-skilled or skilled tasks, and operates a variety of large construction equipment. Work involves responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of equipment such as tractor back hoes, plows, end loaders, sweepers, and graders which entail manipulative skill to operate.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from a standard high school or vocational school, or possession of a valid certificate of equivalency from the State or Armed Forces, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and a commercial driver’s license Class B with air brake endorsement. Experience in heavy construction equipment is a plus.
