Village of Little Chute, Wisconsin has an opening for a full-time Department of Public Works/Park/Forestry Employee. The Village is conveniently located in the heart of the Fox River Valley on the eastern border of the City of Appleton and the Fox River, with a population of approximately 11,000 residents.

This position will report directly to a working foreman. Candidate will perform a variety of semi-skilled or skilled tasks and operates a variety of large construction equipment.  Work involves responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of equipment such as tractor back hoes, plows, end loaders, sweepers, and graders which entail manipulative skill to operate.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from a standard high school or vocational school, or possession of a valid certificate of equivalency from the State or Armed Forces, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and a commercial driver’s license Class B with air brake endorsement.  Experience in heavy construction equipment is a plus.

Salary ranges from $22.71/hour to $27.74/hour depending on qualifications. Excellent health care, retirement and fringe benefit package.
