Menasha Utilities is looking for an Engineering Technician and GIS Technician to work in a community serving over 9,000 customers.
Engineering Technician
This is a management position responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of technical projects of the water, electric and telecommunications utility. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to engineering, electric and water metering, special projects as assigned by the Engineering Manager, organizing maintenance activities involved in the substations and electric distribution, supervising contractor activities, GIS/CAD mapping, construction standards.
GIS Technician
The GIS Technician is responsible for creation, maintenance and support of the GIS databases, maps, applications, and CAD drawings. The GIS Technician creates maps and applications for both internal and public use with ESRI software. This position is also responsible for creating and maintaining detailed drawings utilizing Microstation or AutoCad where GIS is not required.
