RURAL WATER E-NEWS …………………………….……….….…………………………….  2/3/2021

Decades-old boundary war adds layer of distrust in La Crosse PFAS contamination.  “And I never worried about anything,” she said. “I don’t remember being concerned about anything in the world when I was a kid. Much less our water.”

WRWA presents the Wisconsin Virtual PFAS Summit. If you or your city is interested in financial help with any PFAS cost recovery I highly recommend attending this Summit.  Aspects of the program and how to enroll will be discussed.  There will be a lot of information available on the background of this problem along with information on how to recover any costs incurred by your system.  Information is attached to the eNews and the Registration Link:

Also attached this week is the latest Legislative Update.  Lots of stuff is happening (finally) and we are on watch for you.

We still have lots of masks for you.  Even though the vaccines are rolling slowly through you still need to mask up and keep up with your sanitation and distancing.  If you need masks please let us know and we will get them out to you.  Even is you got some from us before!  Let you water or wastewater circuit rider know you want another set of masks and they will bring them out.  femamask – Wisconsin Section of the American Water Works Association (WIAWWA)
