The Green Bay Water Utility is seeking a Filter Plant Technician to perform repairs, complex troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on filtration and ozonation equipment and structures. This position performs tasks ranging from considerable technical difficulty to common labor activities with routine difficulty.
Qualified candidates will possess an Associate Degree in Electronics, Instrumentation Technology, Electrical/Mechanical, or a related field and four years’ experience in a related field. Additionally, qualified candidates must possess post high school electrical and/or related mechanical maintenance training and a valid driver’s license and good driving record. A current State of Wisconsin Surface Water Treatment Certification is desired, but not required. A combination of equivalent experience and/or education may be considered.
Hiring range is $29.70 – $32.18 per hour, plus an excellent benefits package including health, dental, life insurance, and retirement.
