Digging Deeper: La Crosse Well Contamination.  Wisconsin is fighting about 30 PFAS contamination sites statewide, including two PFAS contaminated wells neighboring the La Crosse Airport.

Wisconsin Fire Agencies Ditch Hazardous Firefighting Foam.  Some Wisconsin fire departments have stopped using firefighting foam that contains a group of man-made chemicals that have been linked to increased cholesterol and cancer risk, among other health hazards.

Manure runoff from Kewaunee County CAFO confirmed in town of Carlton.  People in the vicinity of Wakker Dairy who use well water should monitor their water after manure runoff was reported at the farm Monday afternoon, according to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
