Wisconsin Legislature approves funding bill for utility ratepayer advocate.  Wisconsin lawmakers have approved a bill to provide the state’s consumer advocate with funding to negotiate more favorable utility rates.

La Crosse mayor turned down DNR guidance to provide clean water to more residents with contaminated wells.  The City of La Crosse turned down a state suggestion to provide water to all residents impacted by a “forever chemical” contamination, records show.

Driftless Area Water Study well water testing coming up.  The Driftless Area Water Study (DAWS) well water testing program for Crawford, Richland and Vernon counties is coming up on Monday, April 19.

What are the Packers digging up in the Lambeau lot along South Oneida Street? We have the answer.  The Green Bay Packers are relocating a 400,000-gallon wastewater surge tank at Lambeau Field to allow for expansion.
