The Village of Cameron (Pop. 1800) is seeking an individual for a full-time position to assist with all aspects of Public Works. These tasks will include but are not limited to monitor, operate and maintain water and wastewater infrastructure, distribution system and collection system, routine maintenance of both water and wastewater systems including wells, lift stations, tower, hydrants, valves, pumps, meters etc.  The individual must be willing and able to obtain a State of Wisconsin Water/Wastewater Certifications within two years of start date. The public works portion of this job will require the ability to perform the following tasks, snow plowing and removal, operation of dump trucks, street sweeper, sewer jetter, skid steer, backhoe, end loader, hand tools, etc.

This position will pay based on qualifications and will include a full benefit package. The hourly range will be $18-$23

Please note that overtime will be required at times and can include holidays, evening and weekends. All Public Works Employees are required to be part of holiday/weekend on call rotation.
