Sanitary Sewer Utility – City of Baraboo seeks a qualified individual to perform duties within the Water Resource Recovery Facility and Sewer Collection System.

Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Two years of experience at a wastewater treatment plant is preferred. Must be able to obtain a DNR certification with a General Wastewater License and Laboratory certification within 18 months of hire. Applicant must obtain a Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brakes and Tanker endorsements. Duties include assist in the operation and maintenance of the Water Resource Recovery Facility. Perform plant process laboratory testing. Perform normal service work on vehicles, pumps, motors, and other accessory devices on a determined schedule. Interact with members of regulatory agencies and the citizens of the City of Baraboo. Rotates weekend (every 4^th weekend) bookkeeping and testing duties and is subject to emergency response (residence within 30-mile radius of plant). Job requires working outside in adverse weather conditions. Position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and 100 or more pounds occasionally. Hiring rate is $24.12 to $30.80 per hour depending on qualifications.
