City of Seymour, Outagamie County, WI is seeking applicants to fill a full-time Team Member position with our Department of Public Works. The position is required to work in physically demanding operations and varying weather conditions. Applicants must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. +/- repeatedly and undertaking physically challenging tasks for extended periods of time as related to the operation and maintenance of Public Works duties, equipment, and facilities. Applicants should demonstrate an advanced skill level in working with their hands, power tools, and equipment. All Public Works employees are subject to emergency response call-in for facilities and utilities, extreme weather, and state of emergency operations.
- Must possess a valid Wisconsin Class C driver’s license
- Applicants must possess a valid CDL (Class D) driver’s license, or the ability to obtain within six months of hire
- Other preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Public Works operations
- Experience in water/wastewater systems
- Strong mechanical skills
The starting hourly rate is dependent upon qualifications. The City of Seymour offers an excellent benefit package to include Wisconsin State Retirement and health/life insurances.
