DESCRIPTION:THIS CLASS HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF PARTICIPATION\nPermit-Required Confined Space Entry Training \nJuly 22\, 2026 ~ WRWA Technology Center\, 351 Water Way\, Plover WI\n(6 Water or Wastewater Safety Credits\, 6 General Septage)\n8:00 am – 3:00 pm \nThis training class was designed for entrants\, attendants\, supervisors\, contractors and management personnel.  Participants will be able to identify confined spaces\, hazards\, non-permit and permit-required confined spaces.  This course will comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 General Industry\, OSHA 29 CFR.1926.1203 Construction and State requirements. \nEmployees who work in or around confined spaces\, confined space rescuers\, contractors and managers responsible for implementing safety and health standards\, and safety coordinators should attend. \nAttendees will receive a training manual with a copy of the regulations and the proper certification documentation. \nThis Class Will Cover: \nContractor Responsibilities\nCompetent Person Responsibilities\nWhat Is A Confined Space\nPermit Required Confined Space\nConfined Space Evaluation\nEntry Procedures\nOther Employers\nAtmospheric Hazards\nProcedures For Atmospheric Testing\nEngulfment\, Fall & Mechanical/Electrical Hazards\nHot Work Performed In Confined Spaces\nPermit System\nDuties of Authorized Entrants\, Attendants & Entry Supervisors\nState of Wisconsin\, Department of Safety & Professional Services Requirements Will be Covered\nRescue & Emergency Services \n
