8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. – Drinking Water Sampling & Monitoring. We will explain the importance of proper sampling sites and go over the sampling requirements for bacteriological, Lead & Copper Rules, PFAS/PFOA, inorganics, volatile organics, radionuclides, and disinfection byproducts.
10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – LCRR Updates. We will cover the ever-changing LCRR.

11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Lunch Break (on your own)
12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Construction projects and lead service line replacements: planning, design, bidding, construction, and project close out. Class attendees will learn about construction projects, with an emphasis on lead service line replacements, from start to finish. The class will highlight capital improvement planning and design, including budgeting and funding. The class will introduce project design from preliminary layout through final design and the bidding process. Additionally, preconstruction meetings, resident notification and inspections will also be covered. The afternoon session will conclude with punch list items and final completion of construction projects.
