8:00 – 9:00      Troubleshooting Distribution System Issues ~ How to troubleshoot water quality issues including: taste, color, odor, unsafe samples, leaks, and pipe problems.  Tony Roche – Wisconsin Rural Water Association

9:00 – 11:00    Utility Locating and Leak Detection ~ We will take a detailed look at the theory of locating and an advanced look at the principles of cable and pipe locating. We will show a hands-on approach to locating with field applicable tips and troubleshooting techniques to increase the success of locates. We will also describe the basics of leak detection methods, equipment, and the economic impact of leaks on your system. We will also touch on leak listening devices, leak correlation equipment, and leak logging equipment and how each plays a vital role in the process of locating potential leaks.  Doug Gries – Ferguson Waterworks (WRWA Corporate Gold Member)
