The City of Clintonville is accepting applications for the position of Water Foreman.
This position entails overseeing, supervising, and sharing in the day-to-day operation of all aspects of the Water Treatment Facility for the City of Clintonville. Examples of duties and responsibilities includes inspecting water projects, providing assistance fixing water leaks, maintaining wells, chemical pumps, and controls of utility well houses, and advising the City Administrator and Utility Board in the absence of the Manager. In addition, this position requires mandatory on-call status 24 hours a day, seven days a week on a rotational basis and applicants must be able to pass a drug screen and medical evaluation prior to hire.
Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent but an Associate’s Degree in water treatment or a related field is desirable. At least three years of experience as a Water Utility Operator is required. One year of supervisory experience is strongly preferred and previous foreman experience is not required but is desired. Current Wisconsin Water Operator Certificate for Grades D, G, and sub-grade I is required. A valid Wisconsin Driver’s License is required upon hire and applicant’s must be able to obtain a Wisconsin CDL within 60 days of hire.
