The room will open at 8:30 AM with the class starting promptly at 9:00 am. The class will end at 12:00 pm.
Program Overview – Purpose, scope, and expectations under ASME B31.3 Section A328.
Solvent Cementing Fundamentals – Basic principles, ASTM D2855 guidance, and proper installation practices.
Joint Quality Review – Common causes of improperly welded, threaded, and flanged joints; inspection indicators and prevention.
Threaded, Flanged, and Grooved Joint Installation – Correct procedures, best practices, and hands-on demonstrations for each joint type.
Hands-On Joint Make-Up Practical – Participants complete joint assemblies; instructor evaluates workmanship and provides troubleshooting guidance.
Short-Answer Test – Verification of understanding of installation principles and code requirements.
