Waterworks Certification Training: Cross Connection Control & Sampling

This training course will help prepare new operators to become licensed and will also help as a great refresher for experienced operators.

8:00 – 11:00 Sampling ~ Attending this class will give you the best chance of getting accurate water sampling results.  We will go over the requirements of the Bacteriological, Lead & Copper Rules, and explain the importance of proper sampling sites and techniques for required monitoring. They include Bacteriological, Lead and Copper, Inorganics, Volatile organics, RAD sampling, and Disinfection Byproducts.  Session Instructor: Tony Roche – Wisconsin Rural Water Association

11:00 – 12:00  Lunch (on your own)

12:00 – 3:00  Cross Connection Control ~ Utilities throughout Wisconsin are required to have a cross connection control program that addresses this inherent problem. This session will give students an overview of the basics of cross connection control and the regulations that pertain to them.  Session Instructor: Craig Wolf – Hydro Corp (WRWA Corporate Member)
