The room will open at 8:30 AM with the class starting promptly at 9:00 am. The class will end at 12:00 pm.

8:30 am – 9:00 am: Doors Open – Meet & Greet ~ Brenda Staudenmaier, WRWA

9:00 am – 10:00 am: Safety Talk/Level II Walk-Around Inspection for Septage Haulers ~ Inspector Philip Chiu, Wisconsin State Patrol

10:00 am – 12:00 pm: The One That Is NOT About Landspreading ~ This 2-hour workshop will focus on developing spill plans and completing daily logs/invoice records that meet ch. NR 113 Wis Adm. Code requirements.  Operators will review code requirements for a spill plan, then work on developing a spill plan specific to their business.  Next, operators will complete a daily log entry for several example scenarios and evaluate the daily log for compliance.  This is an interactive workshop, be prepared to participate.  Teresa Hall, Wastewater Specialist, Land Application and Septage Coordinator, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources
