Municipal Employee

Village of Tigerton is seeking a motivated and versatile individual to join our team as a Municipal Employee. This full-time position involves a wide range of responsibilities that support the daily operations of the village, including:

  • Snow plowing and operating heavy equipment
  • Maintenance of sanitary sewer and water distribution systems
  • Cemetery burials
  • Assistance at the Tigerton OHV Park and Campground
  • Lawn care and sports field preparation
  • Support with lab testing at the wastewater treatment plant

This role also includes being on-call on certain weekends and responding to after-hours emergencies related to sewer, water, and snow removal.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • CDL License (or ability to obtain within one year of hire)
  • Basic Wastewater Operator Certification and five required subclasses (to be obtained within two years)
  • Grade 1 Certification in Water Distribution and Groundwater (to be obtained within two years)
