Village of Pepin has an opening for a part-time and/or full-time Chief Operator in our Water and Wastewater Utility. The full-time position would include benefits.
Candidates that have, or are willing to obtain, necessary State Certification as a Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator and Municipal Waterworks Grade 1 license are encouraged to apply.
In addition, this job requires computer skills using Microsoft Office and having a basic understanding of Biology or Chemistry would aid in effectively operating and managing the Water System and Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Candidates must have or will be required to obtain a CDL license (Class B but Class A would be preferred). Also, knowledge of running a skid steer would be beneficial.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience. This position will remain open until it is filled.
