The meeting will open at 8:30 am with the class starting PROMPTLY at 9:00 am. The class will end at 12:00 pm. Link will be emailed before class.
SOURCE WATER ISSUES
• Pump failure or shorter-than-expected equipment life
• Discolored water or intermittent color events
• Sudden changes in water quality (e.g., increased radium, nitrates, recurring TC/E. coli positives)
• Poor or reduced filter performance
• Increasing or excessive chemical usage
WATER SYSTEM ISSUES
• Corrosion of piping, valves, or system components
• Loss of disinfection or reduced disinfectant residual
• Significant discoloration during system flushing
• Upward trends in DBPs, lead, or copper results
CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS
• Turbid or cloudy water
• Odors (sulfur, metallic, “swimming pool,” etc.)
• Corrosion-related concerns
RECORDKEEPING PRACTICES THAT SUPPORT TROUBLESHOOTING
• Documentation methods that help identify, track, and resolve system issues
