Utility Operator and General Laborer

Village of Tigerton is looking for a dynamic individual to assist in daily village duties. This position requires the individual to work on a variety of projects, including: snow plowing, operating  heavy equipment, maintenance of sanitary sewer and water distribution lines, cemetery burials, assist in the Embarrass River Campground and ATV Park, lawn mowing, preparation of sports fields, assist in lab tests at the wastewater treatment plant. This position also requires the individual to be on call every fourth weekend, as well as working after hours, or on weekends for sewer, water and snow emergencies.

The ideal candidate must possess or be able to obtain within one year of hire, a CDL license, and within two years of hire a Basic Wastewater Operator Certification and the 5 required subclasses. They shall also obtain a Grade 1 Certification in Water Distribution and Groundwater within that two-year time period.
