Green Bay Water Utility is seeking a Water Quality Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in protecting public health by ensuring safe, high-quality drinking water for our community through comprehensive water quality monitoring, testing, and regulatory compliance.
What You’ll Do:
As the Water Quality Coordinator, you will support and lead water quality operations across the Utility’s service area. This includes collecting and analyzing water samples, coordinating regulatory sampling programs, maintaining laboratory certification, and providing technical support to plant leadership and operations staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Chemistry or related science field from an accredited school.
- 2-5 years of lab technician experience desired
- State of Wisconsin Surface Water Treatment Certification or the ability to obtain within 12 months of employment.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Supervisory experience is desired.
A combination of equivalent experience and/or education may be considered.
Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., plus additional hours as required.
Hiring Range: $40.19-$44.41 per hour, plus an excellent benefits package including health, dental, life insurance, and retirement.
