Operator Responsibilities and Sanitary Surveys
Multiple Dates & Locations in 2024
(6 OTM/NN Credits)
All Classes will be held from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (lunch on your own)
Attendees of this workshop will become more familiar with their own water systems by doing an overview of the daily, weekly, monthly, or annual operator duties of a water system. This session will cover all areas of operation and maintenance of a small water system from well to sample tap. Attendees will also learn to prepare for Sanitary Surveys of their water system. Sanitary surveys occur every 3-5 years. Preparing for this inspection can be stressful. This session will cover a similar “checklist” that the DNR uses to conduct a sanitary survey of your water system. Being prepared can save time and the worry of what needs to be “in order” for these inspections.
