Lakeland Sanitary District No. 1, a municipal water and sewer utility, has an opening for the position of Water/Wastewater Operator. The operator, as part of a team, is responsible for operation of the wastewater treatment plant, collection system, drinking water wells and distribution system. Weekend and holiday work is required on a rotating basis as well as emergencies. A CDL is required or the ability to obtain one within one year. DNR certification in wastewater, groundwater and distribution is desirable and is required to acquire within one year of employment. Lakeland Sanitary District is willing to train the right candidate to obtain the CDL and water and wastewater operator certification with WI DNR.
