City of Washburn is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Crew Leader within the Department of Public Works.  This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position requiring the successful applicant to work a schedule of Monday through Friday and any emergency or non-emergency on-call assignments as necessary for the City.

The position will oversee the maintenance of public buildings and facilities, parks and campgrounds, streets, and municipal cemetery.  Candidates must have working knowledge of operation of heavy equipment, must have an outstanding driving record, must be able to obtain a Wisconsin CDL, must have high school diploma or equivalent, and must successfully pass a physical examination and drug and alcohol screening, and criminal background check.  Previous experience as a heavy equipment operator is preferred.  All other job requirements are outlined in the job description.

Beginning wage is $27.20 hour, based on 2023 wages.  Excellent fringe benefit package, including health insurance.
