The Green Bay Water Utility is seeking a Filter Plant Operator to operate filtration and ozonation plant and equipment to ensure an adequate supply of safe drinking water. This position is front line to ensure delivery of safe water.

Qualified candidates will possess an Associate Degree in Water Technology or a related field and three years’ of operating experience in a surface water treatment facility. Additionally, qualified candidates must possess a current State of Wisconsin Surface Water Treatment Certification, and a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

A combination of equivalent experience and/or education may be considered.

Hiring range is $25.41 – $28.23 per hour, plus an excellent benefits package including health, dental, life insurance, and retirement.
