Oconto Falls Municipal Utilities (OFMU) is seeking a highly self-motivated and organized Lineworker to join our team. The full-time position is a key role within the Electric Utility and is responsible for the construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of the City’s overhead and underground electric distribution systems. The position also assists other utility departments as needed and participates in an on-call rotation for emergency response. Applicants must have high school diploma or equivalent, Journeyman’s certification or be currently enrolled in an approved apprenticeship program, and a valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License. Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures, mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and effective communication skills are required. Applicants must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
