Job Description
The City of West Bend is seeking applications for a full-time Sewer Operations Specialist. We are looking for experienced individuals in the wastewater field.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required.
- CDL Class B/C with endorsements N (tanker) and air brakes preferred; must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, physical, and background check.
- Mechanical skills or experience in heavy equipment operation, maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, or electrical is a plus.
- Wisconsin DNR wastewater certifications in subclasses: A1, A2, B, C, P, D, L, SS
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Schedule: 4-day workweek (10-hour days), with weekend rotation and on-call duties after training. A 30-minute response time is required within 6 months of hire.
- Starting Pay: $27.53 – 31.65 DOQ (Depending on Qualifications).
