City of Tomahawk has an opening for qualified individuals for a Wastewater Operator. Tomahawk is a City of 3,441 located in northern Wisconsin, in Lincoln County, at the southern end of the North Woods. The City is located on Lake Mohawksin, which is formed by the Somo, Tomahawk, and Wisconsin Rivers.
This position will reports to the Wastewater Operator in Charge. Responsibilities include performing a variety of routine, technical and skilled tasks of wastewater utilities. This includes monitoring utility operations, maintaining and repairing facilities and equipment and providing customer service to utility users.
Successful applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience operating heavy equipment, experience in wastewater operations or related field, possess or can posse a valid Commercial Class “B” Driver’s License.
Salary ranges from $24.14 to $31.24 depending on qualification. Excellent health care, retirement, and fringe benefit package. Core hours of work are Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., some weekend work required.
