The Village of Belmont (pop. 997) is accepting applications for this full time position. Selected individual will be responsible for administrative functions of the Street, Water and Sewer Departments including budgeting, long range planning and personnel management. Applicant shall have: at least three years experience in municipal engineering or public works; a working knowledge of construction plan review as well as methods, equipment and materials used in street and other municipal services and construction; knowledge in operation of water systems and wastewater treatment systems; and a working knowledge of electrical utility operations and maintenance. Good communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of people is a must. Valid driver’s license and CDL required. Wage is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
