City of Chippewa Falls is accepting applications for a full-time Wastewater Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be an effective leader who motivates others, possesses strong delegation, management, and organizational skills, displays a positive personality, has excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills, and is a team player who exemplifies positive relationships within the department and community.
A Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; and four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess or acquire the following Wisconsin DNR Certifications within the time frames listed:
- Operator Advanced (OA) within 18 months of hire date
- Must be advanced in 3 of the following subclasses before hire and must obtain the other subclasses within 18 months of hire date: B (Solids Separation), A1 (Biological Treatment Suspended Growth), C (Biological Solids Sludge Handling, Processing, and Reuse), D (Disinfection), P (Nutrient Removal – Total Phosphorus), L- (Laboratory)
- SS (Sanitary Sewerage Collection System) required within 24 months of hire.
- Maintain required certifications for Operator in Charge.
- 1-3 years supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License.
This position is posted with a competitive salary range of $78,956.06 – $96,200.30 with a comprehensive benefits package, including participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System, as well as health, disability, and life insurance benefits. Starting salary will be DOQ.
